After earning her degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from DeVry University, she spent her early career working in appliance manufacturing quality assurance before transitioning to field service diagnostics.
Lucy holds Advanced Diagnostics certification — a credential reserved for technicians who demonstrate mastery of the full Viking appliance ecosystem, from heat pump dryers to induction cooktops. Combined with her Certified Appliance Professional (CAP) designation and EPA 608 Universal certification, she brings an unusually deep understanding of both the engineering theory and practical repair realities behind every Viking error code.
Her focus areas include complex error code diagnostics, cooking appliance calibration, and ventilation system troubleshooting. Lucy authored the majority of our error code database entries and regularly updates diagnostic procedures based on the latest technical service bulletins and field repair data.
